I am a certified public accountant in the state of Maryland.  Originally from New Jersey, I made my way to Baltimore, Maryland in 2004. I attended Morgan State University where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.  After undergrad, I began my public accounting career at CohnReznick in 2009 as a tax associate. During my time at CohnReznick, I specialized in real estate and partnership taxation. 

I decided to move my career in a different direction and left CohnReznick in 2018 as a senior tax manager.  I joined M.L. Lichtenberg & Associates, LLC, a public accounting firm located in Towson, Maryland.  At MLL, I learned to become a practical accountant.  My focus is helping small businesses and high-income earning individuals with business, tax, and accounting strategy and compliance. 

I created CPA Teaches LLC to help businesses and their owners increase their financial literacy, especially minority business owners like myself.  Many of us do not know where to turn when we have business and tax questions.  My primary objective is to provide you answers and financial guidance. I am passionate about education and providing the knowledge necessary for businesses and individuals to reach their financial goals.
